He grew up in a typical wood elven village, where he followed ranger training with some other kids. The fighting part of the training wasn't a big problem, as he was stronger and faster then the other kids. That was the part he liked, and although he had the brains for the thinking part of the job, he didn't like it much and tried to stay out of classes as much as possible.
